Applied nonlinear time series analysis techniques to data processing and estimation for characterizing the short-term fluctuations in the stock market. The overall approach yielded 5 continuous years of over 16% annualized return.

Determined the location of a small UAV to MIL-Spec accuracy using COTS GPS. Stringent design constraints included: Commercial product pricing pressures coupled along with very limited development budget. Our final solution included COTS GPS hardware, with signal processing algorithms running on a low MIPS low power DSP, yet yielding positioning (RMS) error, over an order of magnitude, better than the DOP of a single GPS device, at a fraction of the cost for the solutions that were available.

Completed feasibility studies and system designs for implementing mobile and fixed site communication systems. Implementing high-speed digital communication links for small UAV applications with data rates as high as 56MbPS over a distance of greater than 10Miles.

M2M communication is a more recent area of activity at ChaosWorks. The products in the pipeline are intended to solve a variety of asset, and personnel tracking problems as well as real-time monitoring of critical infrastructure.
